Following each screening, we hold facilitated discussions aimed at deepening the impact of the films shown and encouraging community dialogue around pressing human rights issues. These sessions are structured to provide a safe, open space where individuals feel empowered to share personal experiences, express thoughts, and discuss challenges related to human rights in their communities. Through open dialogue, we aim to build understanding, empathy, and collective resilience.
Moderated by trained facilitators, each discussion is designed to be inclusive, respectful, and participant-driven. Moderators help guide the conversation to ensure that all voices are heard, fostering an environment where everyone—from youth to elders—can engage meaningfully. Participants are encouraged to explore solutions, connect on shared challenges, and identify potential community actions to address these issues.
By promoting civic participation and fostering a sense of ownership over the topics discussed, these sessions aim to inspire community-driven advocacy efforts, building a foundation for ongoing change long after the festival concludes.
